A Personal Journey Toward True Peace
私は、かつて「自由」や「幸せ」と呼ばれるものを追いかけて生きていました。
I once lived chasing what the world called “freedom” and “happiness.”
自分で選び、社会が「これが満たされることだ」と言うものを得ようと努力していました。
I made my own choices and worked hard to gain what society said would be fulfilling.
好きなことをして、誰にも縛られず、自分の人生を楽しむことが本当の喜びだと信じていたのです。
I believed true joy came from doing what I liked, without restrictions.
でも、心の奥には、いつも何かが足りない感覚がありました。
Yet deep inside, I always felt something was missing.
どれだけ満たされているように見えても、静かな孤独や空虚さが消えることはありませんでした。
No matter how fulfilled I looked, quiet loneliness and emptiness remained.
ただ流されるように日々を過ごし、心はどこか遠くにあるようでした。
I simply went through the days, as if being carried along, while my heart felt distant.
そんなある日、私はイエス・キリストが私のために何をしてくださったのかを知りました。
Then one day, I learned what Jesus Christ had done for me.
それは、ただの宗教的な話ではなく、私自身の人生に深く関わる、個人的な真実でした。
It wasn’t just a religious story — it was a personal truth that touched my life deeply.
イエスは、私のすべてを知った上で、私を愛してくださっていた。
Jesus knew everything about me — and still loved me.
私の弱さも、過ちも、空虚さも、すべてを抱えてくださったのです。
He carried my weakness, my failures, and my emptiness.
そして、私が神と「友」として歩むことができる道を開いてくださった。
And He opened the way for me to walk with God as a friend.
その瞬間から、私の人生の見え方が変わりました。
From that moment, the way I saw life changed.
信仰とは、義務でも儀式でもなく、神との関係なのだと気づいたのです。
I realized faith isn’t duty or ritual — it’s relationship with God.
神は遠く離れた存在ではなく、私の心に語りかけてくださる方。
God is not distant — He speaks to my heart.
私の歩みに寄り添い、導いてくださる方。
He walks with me and guides me.
今、私は希望と目的を持って生きています。
Now I live with hope and purpose.
深い喜びと、人生の美しさを感じながら、日々を歩んでいます。
I walk each day with deep joy and a sense of life’s beauty.
困難があっても、孤独ではありません。
Even in hardship, I am not alone.
神が共にいてくださるからです。
Because God is with me.
この変化は、私の力によるものではありません。
This change didn’t come from my own strength.
それは、イエス・キリストの愛と赦しによって与えられた、まったく新しい人生です。
It’s a completely new life, given through the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
だからこそ、私はこの信仰を分かち合いたいと思っています。
That’s why I want to share this faith.
